PALATABLE

natures sweetness

in the form of beautiful peaches

from my lovely coworker

perfect in color and shape

enjoyed sliced and fresh

too gorgeous to waste

i decided to make a peach pie

rick loves pie

but will he love mine

there were peaches plenty

hence, peach jam

long hours but more than worth it

i wondered if my first peach pie

would merit rick's approval

or would it sit untouched in the fridge

there is one piece left

and so i guess the answer 

was yes

*PALATABLE

*edible, flavorful

(i read about placing the peaches in boiling water for 60 seconds, then in cold water for 30 seconds...i could remove the peach skins with one swipe of my hand)
